Indeed it is true love. Sadly, most want a false love that is dripping in sweet notions and niceties that overlook wickedness and wink at sin. They don't want the Jesus who is coming in Glory to Judge the earth in wrath, they want the "sweet Jesus", who is rather effiminant, blond haired-blue eyes and doesn't judge any sin.
I'd say that Alan Keyes has a proper understanding of Biblical love.
