My comments stand. If a family stops talking to a child because the child is gay, I find that disgraceful.
It's in no way an indication that I know the inner-workings of the family or am gossiping. Based on Keyes previous statements about the Cheney daughter, I would not have a difficult time believing that he would stop talking to his daughter just because she's gay.
However, in this thread there is a transcript that sounds like the family is still in communication and that's a good thing. And the daughter accepts that her rebelliousness has resulted in a loss of family financial support.
Since we don't know they DO NOT speak, and CNN says they DO speak, anything said beyond that is gossip. Might as well leave it alone. Wish the media would.
But considering that Maya complained the media wasn't listening to her, it is obvious they are using her, and will stick to sensational headlines to sell papers and their point.
