, or is he just expressing a hardore convserviate hate of homosexuality?
I can't judge his heart, however, from his actions and words I do not see any hatred of homosexuality being transposed to his daughter.
Alan Keyes knows very well that his daughter's deliberate, willful, continuous and habitual sin of homosexuality will land her in hell if she does not repent. A loving parent does not want that for their child.
Which is better, to condone sin leading to hell in order to appear to be loving, or to confront them with the truth and set them outside his protection and benefits so she learns to repent while in the world?
Sometimes doing the right thing can seem harsh. I'm sure Doctor Keyes hates that it has come to this, but he's not obligated to finance his daughter's depraved lifestyle.
