"Without a correct interpretation and understanding of Christian doctrine I can't fault you for feeling this way about your kids because without it anything goes."

So since I am not of the Christian faith, anything goes? Only Christians can see that Mr Keyes is correct in the way he has handled this situation?

I think that you are giving Mr Keyes way too much credit...and insulting me along the way. That's very un-Christian of you, it would seem to me.

Unless you follow Christian doctrine chances are you will not understand or accept what Keyes did in relation to his daughter. No need to be insulted that's just the way things are and no insult was intended.

Christian parents have tough decisions to make when their kids sway from their Christian upbringing to the point of making painful decisions that look to be cruel to the casual non-christian observer.

Abraham was directed by God to kill his most beloved son to test his love for God. That would be considered a cruel test by the casual non-christian observer also. But Keyes has come nowhere close to killing his daughter and look at the reaction from so-called Christians and non-christian alike.
