This is what amuses me about a certain brand of Christianity - it's all about the wrath and the burning and the judging.
No, it's not ALL about wrath, judging and burning, but it is amusing that your un-Biblical brand leaves those parts out.
The same Jesus that came to Atone for the sins of His sheep, is the exact same Jesus who will come again in Glory to judge the earth in wrath and will confine the unrepentent siners in hell.
Why do you lave out judgment, wrath and hell?
Most of the Keyes-bashers are either not Christian, "anti-fundie" (which is funny considering Keyes is *Catholic*, and/or lacking in their understanding of the Word.
So when some folks start ranting againt judgment, wrath, and hell it's probably more out of fear and ignorance than anything else.
Be honest, don't care either way because none of it is going to happen, but that aside, it's more of a comment on the psychology of certain Christians who seem take at some level some sort of odd pleasure in the idea that the immoral (usually defined primarily in terms of sexual behavior) are going to burn in hell forever. It's like the Adelphia Cable executives who wouldn't carry porn channels for morality reasons but saw no problem with embezzlement and fraud.
