I know quite well I'm no better than the daughter. I am not homosexual nor do I condone the lifestyle but I also know without the righteousness of Christ, I appear the same way to God that she does. I also know that my parents could have 'disowned' me for parts of my lifestyle and friendships that I established over the years. But as someone that should have been disowned by my parents years ago, I thank God they didn't because I would not have had another avenue to truly witness God's love for me so upfront and close. But it's clear that those that approve of Keyes' actions don't see it the same way
I notice you didn't answer my actual question about disownment.
So you are saying Keyes and anyone who happens to agree with him is in the wrong. If you want to determine this based on your own personal experience, who am I to argue with that? At the same time, other opinions based on biblical teaching are as valid, if not moreso.
