Three things to note:

Why does FineSwine think more laws will do anything to people who break existing laws. Passing "gun control" laws has repeatedly been shown to be useless at stopping crime. Repeating the same behavior after it's failed to work is a symptom of insanity.
3. The crime was murder, but FineSwine obsesses on the tool to commit it. Even if FineSwine had her way and we all lived in a disarmed fascist police state, what's to prevent this nutball from killing people with a common blunt instrument?
