During the Scott Peterson trial we had one thread a day with all the new stories posted at the top to avoid cluttering up the forum..Posters still blasted it for even being on FR.

The resentment expressed was directly in proportion to the number of TV shows and news comments dedicated to the trial over which crime/trial buffs have no control..

I lived in Wichita during the terror of BTK. Still live close by. It is wonderful this madman has been caught. Local channels are reporting the clue that caught this guy was contained in the envelope recently sent to the local Fox TV station. Supposedly it included a CD Rom with data that had been deleted (and they were able to recover) that led to Dennis Rader. You would think this guy would have realized deleting something didn't get rid of it forever. Also, local newspeople are backing away from the story the daughter turned in her father. Evidently she did give a DNA sample as reported.

Last night KAKE TV showed LE going through things in a shed at the back of Rader's house. One of the things shown was pantyhose stored in a zip lock bag. Couldn't tell what any of the other stuff was. Today's Wichita Eagle has six pages of stories about BTK. News reports this morning say Rader is cooperating. I certainly hope so.
