My comments were not directed to you personally. The question i pose is whether it is possible that the judge is reacting to economic pressures? Does any one really believe that when a man puts on a black robe that he can not be pressured, or that he does not owe something to someone? Does anyone doubt that insurance companies are powerful political forces and are responsible for the appointment of insurance friendly judges. If so you have not read some interesting decisions that interpret insurance law in favor of insurance companies and against claimants. Do you suppose it is reasonable to assume that the judge may have ulterior motives and is seeking to create law that he believes is good because it will reduce the cost of medical insurance? I'm simply saying that this judge's opinion is so bad and contrary to the common law that one must consider the possibility that he has a hidden agenda.

Oh, yes, it's the only thing I can think of that would explain the irrationality. There is another possibility, given his, "I don't want anyone feeding that girl," line, however. Maybe he just doesn't like his godhood being questioned.

My, what a good Baptist boy he is, huh?

Yes, he seems part and parcel of the euthanasia movement through his friendship with George J. Felos and the hospice leadership.
