Schiavo gets more time! (Till 3-18)

What Michael Schiavo said about crushing her trachea is not true. He could certainly have choked Terri to the point of unconsciousness without doing that. [See http://www.datenschlag.org/howto/atem/english/DiM89.html]. I myself have been nearly knocked out in this manner.

Excellent. You took the words right out of my mouth. While reading the first para above, I was thinking exactly what you were thinking. That is a scripted ready-made answer for an alibi.

Do you think Terri should get a PET scan, to clarify what state she is in? It does seem like it would clarify matters. She has not had such a scan.

Old news -- whatever the "more time" was, it has expired. She is not getting more time now.

I'm not a doctor, but I do think a PET scan might have been a good idea. I also don't know better than Mr. Shiavo what Mrs. Schiavo would have wanted.
