People have stopped thinking about Terri as a person because she's handicapped. It's scary to think that people are buying into the mentality that if they're inconvenient, they need to be offed.
Terri's supporters seem to know what Terri wants, but what you said cannot be discounted as a possibility, and one I have considered, even on a personal level.

You cannot dispute the fact the parents are right now walking through hell, and even if they did have that opportunity to be Terri's caretaker, there will be moments of walking through a painful hell now and again. It's not going to be a walk in the park either way.
The deathmongers here can't make up their minds why they want her dead. First it's because she drools. Good reason to kill someone. Then it's because she eats with a tube, even though that's her murdering husband's decision. Third it's because she wants to keep her parents from feeling pain at her troubles.
I thought Michael's reason to want her dead was because she was brain dead...which she's not. When did all of these other ridiculous things become a reason? Why do you and the other hovering birds of prey want to see her offed so badly...honest now. Just why?
