No, Michael is a selfish Bast$rd who wants her to die for the money, and to not giver her a chance for recovery. If she could talk, she would be able to tell her side of the story. I believe he tried to murder her.

Well, if Terry has to be put down then I suggest they at least do it as they would at the SPCA with animals that no one wants and give her a shot. Sarcasm in case someone takes this statement wrong.

This is not a right to die issue. This is a right to exterminate the helpless and handicapped issue. What this court is saying is that when someone has a poor state of physical existence, they are better off dead. What's next - cleaning out the nursing homes?

Why is the local Catholic Bishop Lynch silent on this issue?

This controversy is absent any compelling reason as the husbands claims of Terry's wishes are not documented and he apparently has possible gain from her death.

Why is the local bishop silent?

Why do all the trails end with George $oro$? Every perversion taking hold in our society seems to have his financial backing.

My name is Michael Shiavo and I hereby order ALL of you dimwit Freepers to cease and desist from making your false accusations against me, d'ya hear me?

I love my wife , Terri, with all my heart and soul. I have never, ever, done anything to harm Terri. In fact, I have bent over backwards to see to it that she receives all the help and therapy that she needs and deserves.

Furthermore, because Terri told me she would never want to live in the condition that she is in (fed via inserted tube), I am lovingly doing everything possible to fulfill her declared wishes.

And finally... if you don't get your ignorant Freeper a@@es off my case, I will see to it that your logon tubes are removed... so you can gently dwindle down into Freeper eternity !!! ;-))

No, her husband is a real control freak and he tried to with hold life saving medicine from Terri long before he hired Felos to fight for him.

Let her go!

Why, in the false concept of helping her, are we preventing her from being with God and in Heaven today?

We are not helping her physical body in any way. But spiritually, we are causing her harm.

The time-line for the Terri Schiavo case begins in February 1990 and continues up to May 2004. For 14 long years, the Schindler family have fought an agonizing battle for the life of their child, who unexplainably collapsed after a mysterious incident at her home.

For every one of those years estranged husband Michael has fought just as hard to have his wife put to death by a court ordered starvation/dehydration. Terri has no living will, does not have a terminal illness. One has to wonder why? Is there money involved? The husband claims the judicial award of $700,000 is gone.

Is it love? Michael claims Terri wouldn’t want to live with the brain damage that has handicapped her, however, his hear-say evidence of her wishes came only after the malpractice suit monetary award was announced. Michael’s loving “devotion” is somewhat marred by the fact that he now lives with another woman with whom he has sired two children.

What is the motive behind the restaurateur turned physical therapist turned nurse who passionately pursues his wife’s death? Many wonder. Could Michael Schiavo be a pawn, a pawn in a much larger game being played for much higher stakes?

Enter one George Felos, a kind of weird, yoga practicing guru lawyer yer who is fixated on helping people die. Felos, a board member of the Hospice, has U. S. Dollar visions, ideation that figures on book signings and movie rights once Terri is dead. Not to mention all the fame and fortune that will accrue to the man who finally overturns the law that protects the handicapped, the elderly, and the terminally ill’s opportunity to live until they die – by natural means.

When the gavel finally sounds that makes legal the whim of the courts to adjudge that a human person may be eliminated, by active or passive euthanasia, it will do so with the same language unearthed in the Constitution that has legally murdered 46,000,000 innocent unborn, the right to privacy.

Few people realize that every single FL institution, (Governor Bush excluded), every legal, judicial, medical, societal, journalistic and even religious, from the office of Attorney General Charlie Crist on down through the ranks to the local police department, is arrayed against this woman. This is a big case. Whatever happens to Terri has the potential to affect the entire U. S. population, a fact few people realize.

Euthanasia

Often disguised by the name "mercy killing," euthanasia also is a form of homicide. No person has a right to take his own life, and no one has the right to take the life of any innocent person.

In euthanasia, the ill or elderly are killed, by action or omission, out of a misplaced sense of compassion, but true compassion cannot include intentionally doing something intrinsically evil to another person (cf. EV 73).

I wonder if there is any way Gov. Bush can step in and give her a stay of execution. Oh I forgot. Thats only for criminals. Dammit! I am angry. We prayed for her and fought so hard for her! How could this happen. How can this evil be carried out by people who are supposed to save life. I am just heartsick.

That has been my theory for quite some time.

In 1994, emigree billionaire Geroge Soros wrote a check for $15 million to finance the Project on Death in America (PDIA). Its goal was to “transform the culture of death in the United States.” By 2003 when the PDIA ended its grant making and closed the program, it had distributed $45 million to organization and individuals working on end-of-life issues. Altho, the project is closed the work goes on. Is a large part of that work to make doctor-assisted suicide legal? It would seem so.

EXCELLENT. Project on Death has done it's most damage by putting tentacles into the medical schools. But also by funding the huge ad campaigns in states where the death culturists continue to try to make assisted suicide legal.

I came to the conclusion that Soros was at the core of the Terri Schindler-Schiavo case in September, 2003.  As this article mentions, by December, 2003, Soros closed the Project on Death in America and eliminated most of the web links.  PDIA's objectives and projects are now layered and obscured within many other 'agencies'.

There has always been much more to gain here than the paltry sum MS got in his 'settlement'.

Interesting article. I hadn't heard about George Soros' support with Project Death. This quote really struck me: Soros writes that "devout believers of any sort are idiots who shouldn't hold public office."

I know that "progressives" feel threatened by people who believe in God. But the irony that arises from their fear of religion is that their own belief system is so cultish. At this point in time, when you ask a "progressive" what they believe in, they'll tell you that they don't know. They're too busy questioning reality and trying to re-invent human nature to something that fits their utopian world view. But the dark underbelly of this is that while on one hand their belief system seems mushy and shapeless, they base their politics on a view of human nature and the world that is fictional. Their politics are based on a "faith" that their brand of "good intentions" can save the world, and that human nature is something that can be shaped, moulded, and pushed toward a higher evolutionary goal. YOu can't believe in the evolution of humanity AND believe that humans have a sin nature that is weak and needs God. It's much like Nazism: the quest for the more perfect world and the more perfect human. You don't have to be a gifted prophet to see that the outcome of progressive philosophy will be similar to the outcome of Nazism.
