In 1994, emigree billionaire Geroge Soros wrote a check for $15 million to finance the Project on Death in America (PDIA). Its goal was to “transform the culture of death in the United States.” By 2003 when the PDIA ended its grant making and closed the program, it had distributed $45 million to organization and individuals working on end-of-life issues. Altho, the project is closed the work goes on. Is a large part of that work to make doctor-assisted suicide legal? It would seem so.

EXCELLENT. Project on Death has done it's most damage by putting tentacles into the medical schools. But also by funding the huge ad campaigns in states where the death culturists continue to try to make assisted suicide legal.

If she is fed by mouth, can chew and swollow her food, then I would have no problem with that. Actually, if she could do that, then she and God would have demonstrated their wishes. But you and I both know, that will not happen....

The death-culture enthusiasists have been using tube feeding for some time now as a way to obtain a forced exit. Quite a few of Terri's predecessors were eating just fine until they were chosen for death. In those cases the family wanting death ordered a feeding tube and disallowed all feeding by mouth. Then had the feeding tube removed and the family member killed.

The feeding tube is a prop in name only as part of the game to kill.

And here's one for all of those who think removing food and water is about letting nature preside. The obvious purpose is to kill, not to allow nature to win. Why else do we give morphine and all of these medications as we kill someone?

The Court said Mr. Brophy's G-tube could be removed or clamped, yet neither was done. The tube remained in place, but food was withheld. When he began having seizures, anticonvulsant medication was administered via the tube, as were antacids to prevent hemorrhaging and laxatives to make him more "comfortable" as he died.

And then last time they pulled her tube, he chose to deny her morphine in order to spite her parents.

Do you think a person who denies the dying morphine is a caring person?

Hildy that same site has links to the judges decision, and in that decision he says she is in a persistent vegetative state from which she will not recover. That is obviously false if you have seen any of the videos.

It says that she is dependent on life support, but that is only because he has ordered her to not be fed by mouth.

Her husband ahs stopped all ther therapy after he got the malpractice money. Why wont he let he have pain-killers when her tube is removed? Why wont he permit any tests that might establish further capacity on Terry's part, such as swllowing?

He wants her dead, and that you find this unacceptable, for whatever motive, suggests it is you thaqt is being ignorant about the case.

They also have suicide clinics in the Netherlands where teenagers can walk in and have themselves euthanized without their parent's knowledge.

Reminds me of a story by Vonnegut where people could voluntarily commit suicide in the clinics to help control the population. Can't remember the name of the story, but it was written in 1968 where it takes place in a future America, I guess around the year 2100 or so.

Again, Schiavo has got lots of explaining to do about where the money went...and the day is fast approaching when he will have to.

If you have been following this case, you would know it's not about "letting her be with God." There is nothing wrong with her that food and water can't fix. She isn't suffering now, but she will if she is starved to death. Like I said, you don't have a clue. By the way, her last name is spelled "Schiavo."
