My 7.62x39 doesn't cause that amount of damage. So, is that rifle in use just to place the victims at the wall and another firearm for the execution?

Perhaps they used these. They are very high powered sniper rounds.

It looks like a para dragunov, if so it would be
7.62x54r which is comparable to our .308 or to 8mm mauser.
Even a 7.62x39 if a hollow point would do that kind of
explosive damage from that range.

Kinda reminds one of the Katyn Forest, but there of course
it was mostly Tokarev pistols.

Although i havent been witness to such personally, I would imagine a 7.62/.30 military round would do this damage at point blank range.
