NEW YORK -- Danny Goldberg, a longtime music industry executive, took over as chief executive of Air America Radio on Thursday in the latest sign that the liberal talk radio network is gaining its footing after a rocky start.
Goldberg, whose New York-based record label Artemis represents artists including Steve Earle and the late Warren Zevon, took over from acting CEO Doug Kreeger, who stepped aside in December but remains an advisor and board member for the company.

Most likely.
Goldberg doesn't strike me as someone who would consciously enter into such a foolhardy venture.
Dead Air is more entertaining than Air America.
What's really hilarious though, is this newly published book by Sheldon Drobney, explaining how he overcame all of the inherent obstacles to the formation of a liberal talk radio network.
Give me a break!
They're able to sustain this turkey for a few months after the presidential election, and all of a sudden they're a colossus bestriding the world of talk radio?
What a self-serving load of tendentious pap!

And a mighty impediment it is.
Just ask Al Franken.

They just don't get it . Most of Americans don't want liberalism, and they must be really delusional if they think Americans want a Liberal talk show network ( unless they want a big laugh ).

Have you ever googled "Utopia" or "Utopianism"?? The lefty websites are full of explanations on how to make the world into a paradise. You would think they'd hide from it, only in public I guess..

I think they are just outright desperate, since they seem to forget their history in this area --- nothing but failures. Yet they keep coming back -- maybe Kerry was another fine example of that...

Please explain how a company that has gone through so many CEOs is supposedly doing great. But spin is everything today.

Yes your right, and maybe the Kerry champaign should have gotten a US patent for being a " LOSER " because he sure set the mold and pattern.
And the nomination of Howard Dean as the D.N.C chairman is just going to energize the wackos and liberal leftist even father to the extreme left and alienate the US general public even father and make it set in stone their future demise and losing ways.

Brainwashing is an effective political tool.
Just ask Walter Duranty.

If things are all honky-dorey there at Airhead (not my) America, why do they keep having to shake up the management?

The 62 million who voted for Bush won't believe her, 1/2 of the 59 million who voted for Kerry won't believe her (that's the rabid Bush hating half). That leaves 30million voters who might believe her.
It could be a problem for us.
