Who the heck knows what she means since she can't explain it.
I think they have lost their mind. I guess they just couldn't pass up those campaign contributions from Tyson and WalMart. Screw the taxpayers who helped elect them. I suppose we will see what happens during the next election. I have a LONG memory.

Tyson is corrupt. I was recently heard something else about them although I cannot recall it now. I will get back to you.

Tyson was involved in Hillery Clinton's "cattle futures" windfall, back when Bill was governor of Arkansas (and thus in a position to go hard or easy on Tyson with respect to environmental law). Do a google on the subject

I guess illegal aliens (aka Mexicans) will get instate tuition but out of state citizens will not - that makes sense (not)

Mike the Gov., was on radio this morning. I honest to gosh believe the man thinks the average Arkansan is stupid.

He said the ILLEGAL immigrants must apply for citizenship in order to receive a scholarship, so they WILL be citizens. So does this mean that they will win a reserve scholarship contingent on becoming a US Citizen? Wait a minute! Shouldn't the applicants become citizens FIRST and then apply for scholarships...duhhh..

I don't trust this. OTOH, it's like putting the cart before the horse.

Let's see what happens today.

We heard a rumor that Huckabee was going to run for president. That would explain a lot of this insanity.

I'm listening to big Dave on 920 Karn radio now, and he is speaking with someone about the vote today.

Vote has been put off till tomorrow, I think.

You should hear the definition of what an "undocumented high school" grad is. Dear Lord, we are going down a road we should never travel with this stupidity.

Huckabee as President? I don't think this country could survive it. And I NEVER thought I'd say that. If he doesn't do what the people who elected him want, he's not good for this country. After he's done ruining Arkansas, he might go to Mexico as a missionary, and bring them all back to the promised land.

big Dave on 920 Karn radio

I love his show. I can only get it when I drive to Little Rock. That's how I learned of this ongoing mess! Please keep me posted on the vote. THANKS!

Well, I have to have a Katy Couric (just routine) procedure in the morning, so I hope I'm not sleeping the rest of the day, LOL.

YES! And it's just been mentioned that there is an average of a 7 year wait for legalization.

So their proposal should be dead in the water?

The Arkansas Senate switch board is being bombarded with calls at this very moment. I can't get through. The power of the people should win this. (It should)..

Meanwhile, Arkansas is hobbled by budget shortfalls in critical areas. In other words, we can't take care of our own, but we can fork over our hard earned money for a bunch of criminal aliens. P*sses me off to no end.

"Even in Arkansas people aren't that stupid!"

No, just the legislators. I don't remember anybody requesting the people's opinion.

"Tyson is a big employer in Arkansas."

"And WalMart!"

And that is the extent to which the politicians are concerned about the people. They are concerned only about the people who matter.....to them. This is disgusting.

"This is all building to getting them able to vote -"

Don't look now, but they have been voting for some time. That was the thinking behind "motor voter" and is the reason the democrats scream bloody murder over any requirement of showing ID as proof of eligibility to vote.

Exactly! I am so sick of politicians who couldn't care less about the people they supposedly represent!
