Well said.
Although I've found UFOs fascinating my whole life, as a Christian I've long pondered how the two might mesh. In the past couple of years, I've done some reading on the theory that UFOs are actually Satanic/demonic manifestations. Those who support this theory point out how so many UFOs behave in ways that are not only beyond our technology, but also not compatible with the laws of physics as we understand them: instant, radical changes in direction at ultra-high speeds, blinking in and out of visibility, etc. Problems for actual physical craft, but not for demonic apparitions.
Some of those who support this theory also talk about ET abductions. The alleged abductees frequently report messages given them by their ET abductors, and oddly enough, these messages ALWAYS promote liberal/new age themes: We're destroying the planet. We're destroying each other. We need to learn to live in harmony with nature and with each other. Blah blah blah. Pretty strange that ETs would go to all the trouble to visit us for the purpose of promoting nonsensical ideas, eh?
On an even more relevant point, some abductees report being told that a time is coming when people with "bad vibrations," people who refuse to live in such a way as to bring their vibrations in sync with the planet, will be removed in order that the planet and all the "good people" might achieve their perfect state. Sounding like a cover story to me.
Oh, one more uber-interesting tidbit o'trivia: One demographic is conspicuously absent from the abductee pool. Seems there's not a single report of a Christian ever having been abducted.
