If it'd been a 16 V 149 he would have avoided all the trouble.

Don't wear your tinfoil underwear backwards...

He probably caught a disease that is inherent in rat feces. It is transmitted frequently, the last cases I heard of were in Texas.

The rat poisons were to control the problem, and I doubt he reacted to the poison. A breathing mask would not likely have protected him, as he got the crap on his clothing, brought it home and into his car.

We always used paper disposable jumpers for this reason.

I am a former electrician and worked a great deal at grain facilities. Rats, birds and everything in between are always a problem there.

BTW Gerry, If you are truly he who is the subject of this story, which I doubt, then I suggest you suck it up.

Companies are responsible for a great many things, but they cannot be held liable for nature. Every time you you expose yourself to the elements, you take risks. It is part of the work.

Just walking to a comm tower in most places exposes you to ticks, red bugs and fire ants in the south. All can cause damage to you, that is why we wrap duct tape around our pants cuffs and carry insecticide in the service trucks.

Welcome to life as a electrician!
