The religion of peace strikes again. At least they didn't cut his head off. Given their blood lust, he's fortunate he's alive.

More likely story :
After he arrested Masih, Ahmed told Masih to say that he "would place the Koran on his feet and tear out pages from the holy book on which he would write magic spells to put inside amulets that hed give to fellow Christians" or else Ahmed would see to it that Masih's family was killed. When Masih, most likely under torture, read the obviously non-Christian quote Ahmed had manufactured for him, Masih was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Why would anyone want to insult the Koran? It makes a handy wedge for unstable furniture. And if it's too thick, tear out a few pages. They can be used to replace toilet paper if the need arises.

Thanks for posting this USF.
Something about the story doesn't sound quite right.
It is interesting though to read about their blasphemy laws and how Christians are treated in Muslim countries.
What is it about the koran that prohibits it from being questioned, scrutinized or criticized? If it is truth and inspired as those that follow it claim, then shouldn't it be able to handle scrutiny?
Just wondering...
The Holy Bible says:
"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."

They shouldnt sentence him to jail. They should kill him. Then maybe the rest of the non-muslim fools will realize that Islam is at war with us. They arent doing anything wrong, they are fighting the war.
