I'm glad your brother's doing well. But: MBNA is a scumbag predatory company. Maybe they're great to their employees, but their customers are treated horribly. Google and see.
It's painfully easy not to be an MBNA customer. I'm not one. Look at the back of your credit card. If it says MBNA, cut it up. Go with BankOne or CapitalOne or something more obscure.
