well yes, unfortunately, it does for me right now. I need a full-time job with medical benefits so I can support my 6 children. Were that life were so carefree that I could live it some other way. As for teaching, I already do that, just not full time. As for opening a conservatory, open your eyes and mind first. That takes investment money and time, neither as grad student filling a full-time load this semester I can do. And I need the job as soon as I can get it. Sorry that this does not make sense to you but having six kids does not make sense to most people these days...
