Should have sent them to a technical school :)

i went to RPI for Comp Scie my required were something in the order of 4 math classes, 8 comp sci classes, 2 general science classes, 2 humanities. Humanities is defined as anything not in your core major. So i could use 2 mechanical engineering classes as my humanities. Then the rest are free electives so i could choose to continue which ever paths i wanted

You're right. One of my kids has a computer science degree. He really had no need for a course in women's studies! (He didn't actually take that one, but it was an option).

I think that these colleges are going to price themselves right out of the market. More and more students are going to turn to practical and less costly choices like tech schools.
