Bump that! This author has a growing presence in conservative circles here, but I'm reserving judgment on him so far. He paints with a mighty broad brush, as it were. I hesitate to go further, yet ... but the origin of the term "white trash" is in the assumption that ALL black people are trash.

I disagree with your statement as it is a non-sequitur. the term "white trash" makes NO comment about any other color or percentage thereof who'd qualify as "trash". It just differentiates white trash from other color trash. The rest is presumption on your part. That is like saying "there is one green car on the block so the rest have to be black cars". Not at all. They could be white, gold, blue, red, yellow....
