First of all, threats to "enemies" are not limited to the left. And for that matter, we don't know if they all came from the left. As you can see in this discussion, there are some here very passionate about their disapproval of this guys lifestyle. I'm not suggesting anyone here would do that. I am suggesting there may be individuals from conservative ranks that may also be involved with threats real or perceived. If law enforcement has not been able to track them, then we don't know where they orginated from.

Why do liberals out conservative gays. To hurt conservatives. Let's face it, with rare exception, gays are going to be the last people invited on our short list of guests.

How many times has Matt Drudge's sexuality come into question on this site? How many times has Ron Reagan Jr's sexuality come into question. Quesitoning someone for being gay for political purposes is not limited to just liberals or the wacky right wing of the policial spectrum.

First off .. making a comment on a message board and stalking a person at their home and threaten family members are two different things

I defend him because he is a Christian, he is one of us, and he is genuine (I've met him and from what I can tell, he is the real deal).

Unfortunately, there are too many Christians that are vile in their life. We all struggle, but jeesh. The stuff on his web sites were pretty raunchy. I don't think that most Christians would find any of that acceptable, especially if he was active within the last 2 months.

And I don't the accept the I'll repent because I was caught act that only lasts as long as the light remains on the subject.

In addition, the post I cited was not a threat, it was a comment on someones perceived sexuality. It was alluding that while maybe not gay, they are in fact compromised because they act like one.

The politics of destruction isn't limited to the party of the left.

Rose, I have a problem when conservatives employ a "that's different" when it comes to transgressions of our own. A conservative gets in trouble and we find a way to frame it in the lefties got him/her. What ever happened to personal accountability. The left didn't post his photos to those sites. I do believe a self confessed conservative did. This guy is sick. Sure the left went after him. Are you saying the right has never been involved in the politics of destruction?

I'm just tired of us complaining about something and then when our side gets up to it's ankles in it, we find a way to create a state of victimization.
