Either that, or put a major slowdown on current levels of immigration. Most big cities in America are already pretty much completely developed and thus have a very finite amount of space, and building new big hi-rise complexes on very expensive real estate is quite costly.
Since we know that the left has absolutely no interest in slowing down our current levels of immigration, and for the most part they're unwilling to take the measures that would once again make cities desirable places to live for people with money, the movement of people outward will continue unabated.
"I don't know where you are located..."
In Robeson County just west of Lumberton. When the chain gang comes (about once a month) to pick up the trash, I bet the inmates fill 10-15 bags per mile. It looks great for a few day then the litterers have at it with their cans, bottles, fast food packaging, used diapers, unwanted houshold items, etc. It's a shame, and an indicator of zero pride in where they live.
"Good. Keep the yankees away!"
Funny you should mention that... I am in fact a yankee, born and raised in Massachusetts. :) I'm sure litter is a problem there too. Some places you don't see any (like Charlotte as you mentioned) and it looks great. I guess not many care about it in these here parts.
