The Florida Department of Children and Families has moved to intervene into the legal battle over the life of Teri Schiavo. Details of the agency involvement in the case were not immediately available.
The DCF involvement came hours after Florida Governor Jeb Bush told reporters that he would seek a means to intervene in this case.
George Felos, who represents Teri's husband Michael, criticized the DCF move, saying it 'reeks of the intervention of politics' in this case and is an affront to the court.
David Gibbs, attorney for Teri's mother and father, countered there were serious allegiations of abuse in the case. The Schlindlers have accused their son-in-law of mistreating his wife, Michael has emphatically denied the accusations.
Speaking at an afternoon news conference in Tallahassee, Gov. Bush said he was exploring options to block the removal of the feeding tube and called his involvement 'a work in progress.'
Bush said he had received tens of thousands of emails and telephone calls from supporters ecouraging him to keep Terri Schiavo alive. The governor said he is working with his legislative staff to see what can be done.
'People with deep faith and big hearts are concerned, as I am about the circusmstances that Ms. Schiavo is in,' the governor continued.
'I want them to know that I will do what I can.'

AAAAAA-MEN!
The Nazis were kinder. They used injections or gas.
I see it being arranged about once a month, sometimes more often, sometimes less. You just don't have the exposure to it, so you have a more limited view.
The hospices are big, big business now, and so are bioethics committees. It is far more entrenched than you want to believe.
OUR GOD LIVES! And RULES! Thank you LORD!
"We have not yet, thanks to God, arrived to a point in this nation where we officially starve a disabled person to death."
I appreciate the sentiment but you should have said that we won't officially murder anyone that we have to look in the face.
I actually had a living will done today! You know, at one point such a thing wouldn't have been necessary...doctors really DID NO HARM...and no one expected them to!
And he's cute, too, just like his bro!

I know you are right, I experienced the cabal with my late father. He had stopped eating on his own but they thought it best to rush him out the door. You are a nice person, but I absolutely to not trust the medical profession.
Oh, just yum!
Its been a remarkable day so far, I understand the traffic..

Aren't they just...just....words fail.
The parents have been making the 1st Amendment case in court within the past week. This poor thing will not even be allowed to receive Extreme Unction (last rites) because Michael Schiavo (hell be upon him) has denied access to her Priest.
Okay, let's play let's pretend. What are Michael and Felos doing right now? Be creative now!
"At a 1984 international conference of euthanasia leaders, one speaker explained that once people see how painful death by starvation and dehydration is, then, "in the patient's best interest," they will accept the lethal injection."
"Speaking at the 1998 Hemlock conference, Connie Holden, the nurse-administrator of a Colorado hospice, explained her involvement with the dehydration deaths of three nonterminally-ill patients.Asked how this woman or the other patients would be considered "terminally ill," Holden stated, "The definition of terminally ill, of course, is six months or less and we knew that all three of these patients would die in six months or less if they stopped eating."
I post these things so people can know the enemy we are facing. It is an enemy much larger than one husband and attorney.
They have been working at this since before my 14 year old son was born, before 9-11, before we turned 2000. If we are going to defeat this enemy, and I think we must, we should know that this is about a lot more than one husband who is living with another woman and has children with her.
Terri's father said it himself, in the letter from him that was posted here several times. He knows. He said this "We very quickly discovered it was impossible for us to compete with the abundance of financial and legal resources the pro-death organizations were providing Micheal Schiavo in their effort to kill Terri. They are pouring time and effort into her starvation because they want to use this case to further the agenda of legalized euthanasia."
It is essential to keep writing. And somehow Michael Schiavo has to be removed from being Terri's guardian. That is like have a wolf watch the chicken.
I wish he would run though. He's the only one that has the charisma, experience, and background to win, that I can see so far. I don't like the Bush Family Globalism, but I don't know that I see anyone better out there.
