I said it before - Ignore this person. Some Conservatives like to feel outraged over stuff as a catharsis like a Jerry Springer show but in making an issue of an obscure academics opinion - the outrage brigade only made this nothing of a man a free speech martyr for the left and increased his Q rating and speaking fees. They made him richer and more known than he would have ever been.
Ignoring is the worst punishment for these types. It is an old Commie strategy to create outrage to get agendas and issues out to raise consciousness.
Since many of the students were there because they had to be, not because they wanted to be, you have to wonder how much support this loser really has.
You have a point - except that hopefully it can introduce a new conversation on the importance of seperation of state and education.
With all due respect, I think you are wrong. Ignring them is what we have been doing for the past several decades. This has been allowing them to churn out a generation of mind numbed robots. Mind numbed and dangerous. They need to be neutralized or we will lose the war.
Ignore this person.I disagree. Look at student in the article who said she was given the assignment of listening to this stuff. The Left has taken over the universities of America, lock, stock and barrel.
Ward Churchill -- the Homer Simpson of the Left --- is bringing the whole rotten bunch of them out in the open.
You are so wrong to want to ignore him.
Shine the light on him. Shine it bright. And watch leftist cockroaches from all the corners of academia run around in mad chaos.
You can't ignore them....they increase their ivory tower mutual admiration society and take more of your money....they all slop at the trough and foster subversion....fXXXing traitors, pseudo-intellectuals, hypocrites and welfare bums....the lowest of the low and damned highly paid out of your pocket while DARING you to say anything about it....right out of Marx...the dialectic...
Why not expose him for his frauds in obtaining and maintaining his position, his plagiarism, his thefts of copyrighted art? Is it not important to establish the principle that "tenure" and "free speech" do not enable illegal behavior at the public trough? How long should we continue to subsidize such behavior and the teachin, on the public dime, of that which is not so? Should we not insist on Truth and Honor at public universities? Why should we tolerate public subsidizing of the propaganda of those we are at war with? Would we have tolerated a professor during WWII who taught that Japan was justified in attacking Pearl Harbor, who was a fraud, plagiarizer and copyright thief, and whose teachings were not based in truth?
