I agree. But we live under laws. We can't just throw them out the window when they get in the way. Can the husband divest himself of the situation?

Yes cotton, the parents have begged him to allow them to take guardianship and pay all expenses for her treatments. He refuses.

A law that decrees that people can be legally starved and dehydrated to death is a law that needs to be thrown OUT. I don't recognize murder as a law.

help us understand your thought processes?

WE can't throw (change or interpret differently or at least give Terri her representation in court - which she has not been allowed)

"can't just throw them out the window when they get in the way."

But we can just throw a human being out the window - i.e. starve them to death - which is a long, painful process, as witnessed to by the gal who came out of a coma after 20 years - they once took her feeding tube away for several days...she testified that she had been able to hear everything all those years, but couldn't talk - and when they deprived her of the feeding tube fore several days - it was excruciating....why not ask why the husband, who could give up his guardianship to the parents - instead is so determined to kill her?

He has all but legally done this...

He is living with a fiance...he plans to marry her in a Catholic wedding when Terri dies...They have 2 children together...

In my opinion, he has a conflict of interest...how can you be allowed to force your wife's death legally, when you will profit from it by being able to marry the mother of your children, inherit the entire estate etc...?

>But we live under laws.<

Remember, this is a country where, at one time, it was perfectly legal for one person to own another. It was legal to prohibit women from voting, and one segment of the population could not go into the restaurant of their choice to eat a meal.

Sometimes the law is wrong. Most of us on this thread believe this is one of those times.

You might enjoy reading Mark Levin's book, Men In Black. He outlines the problems with our judiciary beautifully.
