Ahem. Wrong.
Some kid came forward and said the photos were faked, and they were somehow able to "magically produce" the model. There was only one problem, and it came in the form of the program Unsolved Mysteries.
They took the model and used it to duplicate one of the most widely seen photographs taken by Walters, where the craft in question is seen very close to a road. When the photo was taken and compared, you could see two obvious things: 1) The contours of the ship in Walters' photo is different from that of the model. 2) Light from the craft is being reflected from the road in Walters' photo. It is not present in the picture taken by Unsolved Mysteries.
What was actually happening was some people had taken steps in an attempt to ruin the reputation of Ed Walters. They failed.

Well, gee, J.R.R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis and L. Frank Baum wrote a whole series of books that were "phantasy prone." Does having an imagination and writing novels make you totally unbalanced?
Unless you can come up with something more specific that addresses the things he experienced instead of making a blanket statement that attacks Streiber himself, maybe you should just sit down and shut up about the man.
