USS Charlotte (SSN 766), ported in Pearl Harbor. Just got back from WestPac a couple weeks ago, and expects to head out "somewhere," "soon."

Oh, that's right, he went into submarine service. I remember now that you told me that. So, when he leaves, you don't know where he is until he surfaces again? That must be hard.
I went aboard a "Fast Attack" sub when we were in Florida for our son's graduation from boot camp years ago. I have the deepest respect for the men who can serve in such close quarters aboard those things. Gives me the heebee-geebees just thinking about it!
