Raising a child to know Christ is saving the child's soul rather than leaving her to the ravages of godless Communism. I'm sure that almost all of these little girls would have been aborted or starved if not adopted. A single mother can often be seen as a mixed blessing. A charitable adoption is heroic, but it must be out of charity and not for a selfish love. I'm sure that most single women are adopting for true love, and I pray they all find worthy husbands for themselves.

Indeed...compared to infanticide, single mom's indulgence seems trivial.
But the theme that some did not need husband is troubling.
