Hmmm...Irony....Not sure that's the term...
Convicted criminals (felony, misdemeanor, on probation or paroled) who "get it"; meaning those with a real desire to rejoin society w/o criminal activity, who get clean & sober, CANNOT GET JOBS.
Just try & get hired right out of jail in any job that handles money, deals with kids, or in California, who whats to work in a drug treatment program. You can't do it. (Most require being free of probation/parole at least 1 year)
Yet this class of criminal is being handed the silver platter.
Nope. Irony doesn't even come close...

She's a couple steps ahead here.
