Police didn't have an answer for why they didn't further question the documentation when he was arrested for DUI.Because they have been admonished not to. Offending a rapist murderer by questiong his immigration status, is unfair and racist..

Why do I get the feeling that if it were a non-hispanic, saying "I don't have a license" would have flown so easily. The parents of the child need to sue the city for failure to enforce immigration laws - way to many sanctionary cities who do not enforce the laws and then try to go begging to the government for assistance in supporting them.

This disgusts me beyond words. A young girl is dead - died horribly - because the politicians won't enforce the laws. And that lack of enforcement comes from the top down. I'd better stop before....

Police told us Martinez didn't have a driver's license, but his brother showed up at the scene and produced a Social Security card. Why would anyone accept a SSN card (or number) as proof of identity?

If I had been stopped for DUI and couldnt produce and documents, drivers license or valid Social security number, I would still be in that jail.
Why didnt they arrest the brother for presenting someone elses social security card.
Who runs this Police Department? Barney Fife? Deputy Dawg?
