WASHINGTON (AP) - The Republican National Committee began the month with a 6-to-1 financial advantage over its Democratic counterpart, with $16.5 million in the bank compared to the Democratic National Committee's $2.6 million.
The RNC raised $10.5 million in January, according to its monthly report to the Federal Election Commission. The GOP spent $8.7 million, including a $1 million transfer to Senate Republicans' fund-raising committee and nearly $1 million in telemarketing, according to an analysis by Political Money Line, a nonpartisan campaign finance tracking service.

I wonder how much Kerry has leftover?
These numbers are irrelevant. Their billionaires will contribute what they need when they need it.
Funny how this is the boiler plate mantra, yet when election time comes round the playing field quickly levels out.
Not much if he repaid that equity loan he took out last February.
It wouldn't hurt to have a few of our billionaires, if only to compensate for theirs.

Why would the RNC hold Dems anyway? Cash, I can see...but Dems...ya gotta feed them, water them, hire shrinks for them.....it's just too hard!
But I was informed by the MSM that the brilliant McAwful and his puppet masters, Hil & Bubba, were master fundraisers? (At least that's the excuse the lib media types use to defend McAwful's losing track record and Bubba's endorsements and political advice that has also come up short these past few years.)
By the time the Democrats pay all their fines, their treasury will we empty.
I read somewhere a couple days ago that Kerry had $4 million left over, and he was going to hold onto that cash for future aspirations of anothe Senatorial campaign run, or possible '08 Presidential run. He gave a quarter million to the Washington recount effort, the criminal effort to steal the election in Ohio, and lesser amounts for DNC purposes.
Seriously, I wonder if this is in part due to the fact that the democrat party has to pay for volunteers.
How much MORE paid staffing does the democrat party use?
Additionally, how much of the democrat party money is being sucked out into clinton coffers?
Thanks for the alert.
That is really really good. But we must not forget the deep deep pockets of Soros & Company.
We must also not forget the BILLIONS in free propaganda the LameStream press provides the liberals.
Wait a minute.
Dems said REPS spent more than they did.
Dems said they got more donations.
Then, in the middle of the Kerry campaign, they cut some stops.
Then, it turned out they hadn't PAID their staffs.
SO WHERED DA MONEY GO? (hillary....!)
He was a good fundraiser, but raising money doesn't mean winning elections.
He spent like a drunken sailor on shore leave with money thats about to go out of style on the day after thanksgiving (I tried to get as many metaphors in there as I could).
Personaly, I think he looted alot of the money too.
