Florida Prosecutor Accused In Streaking Incident

KEY WEST, Fla. -- A drunk Monroe County prosecutor thought it would be funny to run naked across a parking lot and hop into a friend's car, authorities said. But the joke was on him when he jumped into the wrong car and was arrested.
Albert Tasker, who works for the Monroe County State Attorney's Office, told authorities he had been drinking with friends and thought it would be funny to shed his clothes and run to a friend's car in the parking lot of a Key West motel, according to a police report.
But Tasker apparently got in the back seat of a car occupied by a woman waiting for her boyfriend. The woman screamed and her boyfriend appeared. After the woman called 911, a Key West police officer found Tasker in the middle of the parking lot.
Tasker, 28, was arrested Monday morning and faces charges of disorderly intoxication and indecent exposure, both misdemeanors. Officials with the State Attorney's Office said a request has been sent to Gov. Jeb Bush's office to appoint a special prosecutor to handle the complaints to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest.
Tasker has been placed on administrative leave without pay and his office is conducting an internal review of the incident.
"It's terribly embarrassing for both him and for us, and we'll wait to see how the facts unfold," said J. Jefferson Overby, the chief assistant state attorney for Monroe County.
Tasker did not have a listed phone number. He did not immediately return an e-mail on Tuesday.
He was on the way to court and forgot his briefs.

He climbed into the car to discuss penal laws.....
I suspect he will get off with a 'hung' jury.
Note to self: Check the front seat driver before jumping in...
He's quite lucky she didn't shoot him. A naked man jumping into the car of a woman sitting by herself is fair game, IMHO.

Reminds me of a story about my son. He's a natural blond. When he was 20, he was in a Colorado resort town on a college sponsered geology field trip. He and his fellow students were hanging out in a cabin, with a few beers at the ready when the sheriff burst in the door, looked around the room, pointed at Charlie and said, YOU, COME HERE. Charlie went over and was accused of streaking a senior citizen's center square dance party. Evidently, the streaker was blond and someone had mentioned that there was a blond kid with the geology group. LOL, he fortunately had about 14 people giving him an alibi.
Had the clowns name to the "sex pervert list"...
A million stories in the "Naked City." This - was one more.
As with John Wayne Bobbitt, no hard evidence that will stand up in court. Case dismissed. (But first, bailiff, whack his pee pee.)
