Excellent round-up.
"Shortly after the 2001 terrorist attacks, ABC News, the Associated Press, The Boston Globe, the New York Daily News, The New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle ran articles about federal government investigations into Global Relief and other Islamic charitable organizations suspected of channeling funds to terrorist organizations such as al-Qaida." The fact that NYT was sued for libel about supporting terrorism by Global Relief is especially ironic. You would think that after such treatment by GRF, the NYT wouldn't stick their necks out for this group but yet they did by tipping them off on an imminent Federal raid on their offices. Very interesting.
