North Korea did beat Italy, which was probably the biggest shock in World football at that time. But then football has always been about more than political strength, as the US showed when they lost to Iran in the 1998 World Cup.
I don't think it's a bad thing to say that America doesn't get football and I certainly didn't mean it as an insult. It's just odd that the rest of the world plays it and you guys don't. You're missing out!
And for what it's worth, I stayed up and watched the Superbowl the other night. Very impressively done as always.
No idea how many people have been killed at the NFL. I've been caught up in trouble here and I assure you that it's not a pleasant experience.
