If they do it is more like reading a menu in a Chinese restaurant, you chose what affirms you and your position and the rest of it was just cultural prohibitions of the time and not meant for Christians now. I doubt Jesus would recognize the Christianity practiced in mainline protestant churches today.
It sure doesn't look anything like his own Christianity, that's for sure.
