I agree. Heston was a great actor from a previous Hollywood generation that was more family friendly and cared about our country.
Look at the current Hollywood types like Michael Moore who not only produce unwholesome valueless vulgar trash but actually attempt to make fools of great actors like Heston.

I have a good clip of Charleton Heston doing a "BiCentennial Minute" for CBS back sometime in 1974-76 that told the story of what happened that day 200 years ago. I remember those when I was a kid. Charleton Heston's delivery was so powerful, it was evident even in the poor audio copy I have.

I also brought up John Wayne too, I love the clips from his 1973 "America" album, it would have been a blast for the Bicentennial a few years later.

Shame Clint has lost it.
