I really like Sanford too, besides the fact that he voted against calling the DC airport Ronald Reagan International. This is very disturbing to me, considering the fact that Reagan was the greatest president that America has seen in these two last centuries. Like I said before, Evangelicals are not going to come out and vote for another politician and Sanford is a career politician. He is also up for reelection in 06 and I wish him the best of luck. Pence has his district on lock with 70% so he doesn't have to worry about reelection. I think God really has a plan for Pence and God has him in a perfect position for President. Please keep praying about this because that is what Pence really needs.
He was only elected in 1994 to Congress, and he only served three terms. I don't know that I would call that a career politican....
As far as the airport goes, I love Ronald Reagan and all, but who cares? It always kills me about how people make a big deal out of naming crap after other people. We've got airports and highways and streets and we've always got to name them after folks. As if somehow the sun won't rise if an airport is still named Idlewild or National? There's a stink where I come from it seems like every year about how we've got to have a Martin Luther King, Jr. street. WHY? Who cares? And if it's all the same to me, I'd just rather not change the name and then have to pay for all of those new signs that have to go up...
