I don't think one has to be a republican to look at that rating for Clinton and ask , "WHY?" I mean--what did he do to be ranked above Lincoln?

Notice the results of Clinton before and after his book, My Lie...I mean Life.
What is surprising is that George Washington isn't ranked number one. After all, he only helped found a Republic. Not a big deal to people that don't think about our ENTIRE history.

>>The three least popular presidents mentioned on the survey were George H. Bush, Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon.<<
This says more about the public school system than it does about Presidents.

Just give history some more time, and this will all change.

I understand people like him, but just because you like him doesn't mean you put him as the greatest in history.

Bill Clinton before Abraham Lincoln? Try the bottom of the list with an asterisk that designates presidents who left office in shame and disgrace.

I can see why Rats would give the nod to FDR... but Clinton? Who are the knuckleheads who voted for Carter as the greatest?

Well, it looks as if plenty of children got "left behind" over the years when it comes to American history. Scary.

Because of the "Contract With America" dummy. Everyone knows he's the one responsible. Now get your act together and get a hold of yourself, D. :) Hehehe!
In reality, he did nothing. I think Americans give him credit for an economy he didn't create. In fact, he's the responsible party for slowing it down with his proposed tax increase.

Consider the source. I think this whole "survey" is just BS.
