In this country, poverty is a state of mind for the most part. Moral poverty is far worse than physical poverty.

In this country, poverty is a state of mind for the most part. Precisely. We don't have any poor people in this country. We have people who are poorer, and that is not the same thing as "poverty."

Moral poverty is far worse than physical poverty.Run, do not walk, to your local library and take out a copy of Mona Charen's new book Do-Gooders. It's about how virtually every domestic problem we cope with, from racial strife to child abuse, is the result of libs applying their ideas and/or taking political advantage of bad situations.
