This is an important thread. The reason is that the Times sends signals to the rest of the media. Here, the Times is taking a pro-evolution stand -- or at least anti-ID. Why is that important? Because we're being set up for the assault on conservatives.

Can't you see it coming? "We libs are oh-so smart and scientific; and those Republicans are nothing but a pack of unwashed, inbred, beer-drinking bozos at the sawmill."

It's been said before, but it's worth endlessly repeating: Creationism is a cancer on conservatism.

Your whole post is correct. I thought the same thing when I saw the Times had picked up on this. The battle is about to be joined.

Creationism IS a cancer on conservatism.

Quite the opposite, you are in lockstep with the libs and this is your "out". You and your ilk are the cancer, but you aren't conservatives anyway. The NYT gives your game away quite plainly.

I'll second that, and add pro-smoking and neo-Confederacy.

"Creationism is a cancer on conservatism."

So..in other words....unless a person agrees with you...they can't be a 'conservative'???

Seems to me that I've heard that before.....

...and you saying it over and over again does NOT make it true.
