This story about Chalabi was an effort to get at Scooter Libby, Doug Feith and the office of Special Plans [which the CIA & DIA apparently hate to no end as it doesn't leak] and the press is a willing helper. Lang is a CBS consultant, after all, and has been chin deep in every related story. (As a matter of trivia I have to wonder if the ol boy was in the DIA at the time the spy Elena Belen Montes was selling us out to Cuba and if they were close in spite of covering different areas. Montes was slated to be moved over into Tenet's office at the CIA but that idea was canned before she did.)
I might point out that Lang is also a laRouchie and the effort to go after Doug Feith also involves a LaRouchie by the name of Kwiatkowski, a female officer at the Pentagon who is shy a quite a few pallets on her truck, if you know what I mean. She's Ted Kennedy's favorite source.
