Who in the Israeli government can honestly believe that these "good faith" prisoner releases (or live terrorists exchanged for deceased Israelis) are good for Israelis? Why are they bent on such suicidal policies (pardon the pun)? What did Arafat do with his billions, establish trust funds for self-hating Jewish politicians, or what? Have they all gone mad?

I disagree. The end result of the capture of a terrorist should be an automatic death penalty.
This should apply as well to American, British, Australian, Canadian, and Israeli nationals, among other countries, who commit terrorist acts or become members of terrorist groups, such as the likes of Johnny "Taliban" Lindh, Richard Reid, and Jose Padilla.
