Give me a break. That guys been around for a long, long time. See, they actually believe in Academic Freedom at Lehigh (even though he still hasn't done anything remotely academic)

Look at how little space the reporter gives to the anti-Behe side. This is exactly how a liberal puff piece is normally written (puff up the guy you're covering, make it sound like those opposed to him are small minded, etc., and don't give them a chance to rebut)

>>But nothing explains the elegant structures of a cell<<
And that elegance goes way beyond what can be seen in a compound, or even an electron, microscope. If happenstance created a living cell it would be a sundial. If design created it, it would be a Rolex.

His work is shoddy and fundamentally flawed.

If design created it, it would be a Rolex. You are mistaken. "Happenstance" as shaped by evolutionary processes routinely produces intricate structures of high complexity, balanced on the knife-edge of criticality.
Try reading some science journals instead of creationist tracts.

God is eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, without beginning or ending.
No one created HIM.

Ichnemonidae, my small friend. You would never believe the number of scientific journals I have read. If you are as mistaken about what produced the complexity in lifeforms as you are about me, maybe it is you who should read some of those creationist tracts. It may add some balance to your thinking. Personally, I don't think I have ever seen one.

Behe defended his research by highlighting several of his critics and then countering their criticisms with his own research. Behe did research?
