What we are talking about is entry level positions. You are not going to make a comfortable living in an entry level job. Most people start at the bottom and work their way up, if you have a little education you can start a little higher. We all had to do it that way. Here in California we have high school dropouts working as handymen living in half million dollar homes, that's why the whole world is invading us. Instead of crying about it these whiners should jump right in, this is the most fantastic time to live in the most fantastic country in the history of the world.
That's the way it USED to be...
Now we have men with families working for just above minimum wage...There are few jobs for college and high school kids...Family supporters now have these jobs...
These 'entry level' jobs have been replaced by the British owned Manpower Company...Temporary labor...Temporary jobs...No health, retirement or unemployment benefits...Things ain't the same as when you or I came up thru the ranks...
