What isn't mentioned here is that they have taken many good paying jobs and turned them into minimum wage pay.

Happened right here in construction, where a lot of jobs used to pay very well, but now pay peanuts.

And the price of housing has soared.

I assumed that you lived in California because the situation you describe is exactly what is happening here, to the dismay of construction workers, tile workers, gardeners, haulers, nannies, warehouse workers, hospital workers, fast food workers, etc. etc. etc. Illegal aliens are bringing down wages in every corner of the American blue collar landscape, and it seems to be OK with the elites in Washington.
