Oh, so Dean is qualified to be President because he's been to more countries than Bush? What a schmuck.

Social Security? What does that have to do with this debate?
Well, lemme see if I can translate. Howard Dean is trying to say that Social Security provides money for old people, and old people vote. If the old people vote for DUmbocRATS then they'll be in power again. Once Howard Dean takes over, he can implement world wide communism/socialism. That will give them utopia, DUmbocRAT definition of peace. Besides, don't you know that the biggest threat is global warming?!?!?!?

I should have started counting how many times he was going to say When I ran for president..yada yada yada Yep, he can't get out of the past. Sounds a lot like Kerry did referring to Vietnam.

Notice when Dean spoke of the need to spread our ideals of "democracy and capitalism" his applause was decidedly muted.

Dean goes instinctively to Bush-bashing. "I traveled to 50 countries, which is a lot more that Bush."
Just in case people don't know, Bush was in Mexico, Canada, Scotland, Italy, Israel and China. He also may have been in others, but I don't know for sure.
I don't believe Dean's "50 countries" unless he shows his passport with stamped visas.
To: hipaatwo
Yeah, no kidding. Perle just zinged him on those comments. Interesting...

What I love is the apparent role reversal - PBS on it's head. Dean is playing the role of the liberal-annointed stereotype of a conservative - loud-mouthed, easy with the facts etc. Perl, on the other hand, sounds like a PBS personality - quiet, easy going, hence a supposive hook on reality etc.
Of course the Dems have more-often-than-not been the loudmouth, emotionally-charged and intellectually-bankrupt crowd, while the right has been the voice of common-sense reasoning.

Is Dean really that stupid that he just said that we created a "hotbed" of terrorism in Iraq that was not there before? Get real you moron. Answer the question and quit spewing the party line rhetoric. Well, I guess that's all Dean can do: spew lefty crap, wait for applause, and then believe they are making progress. He and the idiots in the audience that support this wacky line of thinking are pathetic.
