>>They should meet this guy at the jail door with a parole board and paperwork granting his re-release.
Sounds good to me...
I think he would make a good nominee for President. I think he would beat John Effin Kerry.
I would vote for hiom before I would vote for either Kerry or Hillary after all didnt Hillary take the furniture the last time she was there, and didnt John Kerry fraudulently take his Senate paycheck. If you are going to put a thief in the White House , why not one who has served his time honorably?
"You can make examples of people when they do wrong.
Why not make examples of people when they do right?"
Exactly. If rehabilitation is the goal this one is a rare accomplishmet. Some employer should take a hint.
Doesn't that beat all. Since he was acquited in Ohio, in basic fairness (though likely not strictly law), the Colorado system should reduce his incarceration by that amount; minimally, the parole board should consider his responsible action in returning to Colorado to serve his time. My guess is the corrections department is axle wrapped in regulations, and it's up to the parole board or governor to do anything positive for him.
For many reasons, lots of men will get within two years (or two months sometimes) of release and escape if given the chance (i.e. during work furlough or trustee off site excursions) ... who knows why they do it... Stockholm syndrome, taste of freedom, like the security of prison, very low self esteem - thinking they can't make it on the outside... that kind of thing probably.
REDUCE the time remaining in his sentence by 50%, NOW!
